Kids deserve to have the best and brightest minds defending them.

We aim to interrupt the cycle of abuse by equipping frontline responders with intelligence to identify juvenile victims and sex trafficking networks.

origins

In 2014, Spotlight was simply a prototype application to aid in identifying child sex trafficking victims who were sold online. After initial success, a decision was made to develop the product itself and provide it free to law enforcement. This approach broke open a new model — one that moved beyond innovation to include productization and rapid scale, bypassing existing bureaucratic structures that often hamper access, data sharing, and collaboration.

We bring together a team with deep technical knowledge and subject matter expertise to innovate and deploy new technology and data solutions at a much faster rate. We are able to quickly assess whether new technologies can be repurposed to protect children from sexual exploitation, identifying and safeguarding kids faster.
